The Town of Charlestown, NH is accepting bids for a used 1951 American LaFrance fire truck. This vehicle is being sold as is/where is with no warranty whatsoever as to condition or suitability for any particular use. Vehicle can be seen at the Charlestown Fire Station, 1 Main Street. Bids clearly marked “1951 Fire Truck” will be accepted at the Office of the Selectboard until Wednesday September 23, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Selectboard meeting that evening at 5:30 PM. Photos are available on the website, Charlestown-nh.gov/ The Charlestown Selectboard reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids as it deems in its sole judgment to be in the best interests of the Town. BIDS BEING ACCEPTED FOR INSTALLATION OF TORO ROOF Town of Charlestown is in the process of seeking qualified and experienced contractors to submit bids for the installation of a 35’ x 40’ TORO metal roof system (which will be supplied by the Town) onto existing Conex boxes at the Highway garage, located at 37 Southwest St, Charlestown. Bids clearly marked “TORO Roof” will be accepted at the Office of the Selectboard until Wednesday September 23, 2026 at 3:00 PM. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Selectboard meeting that evening at 5:30 PM. The successful contractor shall provide proof of insurance. The Charlestown Selectboard reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids as it deems in its sole judgment to be in the best interests of the Town.
