PLANNING BOARD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – CONSIDERATION OF REVOCATION OF SITE PLAN APPROVAL

Notice is hereby given that the Charlestown Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Community Room, 26 Railroad Street, Charlestown, NH, for the purpose of considering whether to revoke the Site Plan Approval previously granted for the Clubhouse Bar and Grille, located at 32 Hastings Court, identified as Tax Map 117, Lot 66.

The Planning Board will consider whether circumstances exist that warrant revocation of the Site Plan Approval, including, but not limited to, alleged deviations from the approved site plan and conditions of approval, construction or placement of structures or improvements not shown or authorized by the approved plan, representations made in connection with the original approval, and alleged violations of conditions relating to the operation of the site, including noise and lighting.

The public hearing will provide the applicant, abutters, neighbors, and other persons with relevant information an opportunity to present testimony and evidence concerning the approved site plan and alleged violations or noncompliance. Persons providing testimony regarding operational impacts or violations are encouraged to provide firsthand, specific information, including dates, times, observations, photographs, documents, or other relevant evidence when available.

Following the receipt of testimony and evidence, the Planning Board may deliberate and determine whether sufficient grounds exist to revoke the Site Plan Approval, in whole or in part. Any decision to revoke the approval will be based upon specific findings of fact adopted by the Planning Board.

The Town’s Site Plan Review Regulations provide that conditions contained in a final Notice of Action are subject to the Town’s enforcement procedures and that occupancy is not permitted unless the applicant complies with the approved site plan.
