Town of Charlestown, NH PLANNING BOARD

Notice is hereby given that the Charlestown Planning Board will hold the following public hearings on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the Silsby Library Community Room, 26 Railroad St. Charlestown, New Hampshire for:

Pursuant to RSA 675:6t Notice is hereby given that the Planning Board proposes certain Amendments to its Site Plan Review Regulations and Subdivision Regulations, as more particularly described:

Site Plan Review Regulation Section 5.13, to clarify that not ALL appeals from the Planning Board go directly to the Sullivan County Superior Court; the proposed amendment clarifies that if the appeal concerns an appeal of the Planning Board’s construction, interpretation or application of the zoning ordinance, the appeal must be first made to the Charlestown Zoning Board of Adjustment within 30 days after the date on which the Board voted to approve or disapprove an application, unless the appeal concerns the application of an innovative land use control, then the appeal must be made to the superior court pursuant to RSA 677:15. All other appeals go directly to the Sullivan County Superior Court. Authority for this proposed Amendment: RSA 676:5,111 and RSA 677:15.

Subdivision Regulation Section 4.4.16 to comport with changes under state law that extend the vesting time periods for approved site plans and subdivisions from post approval changes in local planning and zoning regulations from(3) years to seven (7) years. Authority for this proposed Amendment: RSA 674:39

2025-SPFP-006: 689 River Road, LLC requests final review of a Boundarv Line Adjustment for property located at 669 & 705-707 River Road identified as Map 207, Lots 002 & 002-1 in the Mixed Use E Zoning District.
